Come together to this workshop where you will learn more than just yoga poses to share with your partner. You will learn practical hands-on skills to help support you through the physical and mental demands of childbirth. This class will address issues such as maximizing optimal fetal positioning, back labor, massage and acupressure and relaxation techniques. We will practice positions on a “birth ball” so if you have one, please bring one to class. (These are also known as exercise balls, physical therapy balls, etc.)
No yoga experience is necessary and this workshop is appropriate for all trimesters of pregnancy. Your instructor, Nancy Larson, holds the following credentials: B.S. in Human Development, ACE-certified Group Fitness Instructor, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Whole Birth® and YogaFit® yoga instructor, Certified HypnoBirthing® Practitioner, Doula, and MOM. Nancy is passionate about the miracle of pregnancy and birth and in helping women to trust in the innate wisdom of their bodies to bring their babies into the world.

Things to bring if you own them: yoga mat, “birth ball” and Rebozo (a Mexican scarf) OR a flat bed sheet (Twin size will do) Dress comfortably.
