300-Hour Advanced Studies
Downtown Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher Training School. The 300-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Advanced Yoga Studies program has been specifically designed to exceed the 500-hour Teacher Training program standards for registration with Yoga Alliance.
When combined with Downtown Yoga’s 200-hr Advanced Studies program (240 hours), the total program comprises over 645 total hours of instruction in training, teaching methodology, yoga techniques, yogic philosophy and anatomy.
The 500-hour program is individualized and self-paced. There is no limit as to how long a student may take to complete the program. Students may take up to 2-years or longer to complete the 300-hour program. The shortest duration possible for completion would be 15-months. Downtown Yoga prefers the student not rush this program as the focus is on extended duration of practice and application. A student may start at any time in the cycle of the curriculum.
The primary E-RYT Instructor of the program is Kate Coughlin, Director of Downtown Yoga. Kate is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) at the 500-hour level and one of the few “E-RYT-500’s” in California qualified and registered by Yoga Alliance to offer such a program.
All interested parties should contact Kate Coughlin, Director - for further information at 925-819-9983 or email at info@pleasantonyoga.com.
